The LS-2000 is a high-speed, high-resolution scannercapable of producing images suited to a wide variety of tasks,including desk-top publishing, design, and multi-media publishing.Its modular design allows you to change from scanning 35 mmslides to scanning 35 mm strip film “on the fly,” while optionaladapters are available for scanning IX240 film and multiple con-secutive slides. The LS-2000 uses a high-speed SCSI interface forconnection to computers running Mac OS System Software 7.1 orlater, Windows 95 or later, or Windows NT 4.0 or later.The scanner driver software provided with your scanner, Nikon Scan2.0, offers sophisticated pre-scan editing of images, includingprecise color correction, contrast, and brightness adjustment. NikonScan can be launched from any TWAIN-compliant application underWindows or from any application that supports Adobe Photoshopplug-ins (version 4.0 or higher) on the Macintosh.
