18EnThe Lens HoodThe lens hoods protect the lens and block stray light that wouldotherwise cause flare or ghosting.Align the lens hood lock mark (—) with thelens hood mounting mark (L) on the lens (e).When attaching or removing the hood, hold it near the symbol on itsbase and avoid gripping it too tightly.
