20Lift off the motor.2. Pull out the filter by its bottom plate and shake it gentlyfrom side to side. The hose must remain fixed to thecontainer during the shaking operation.The filter can be cleaned by vacuum it.Removing the motor 901. Dismantle the motor by turning its handle anticlockwise.Lift off the motor.Emptying the containerWhen the filter has been shaken and the hose detached,release the two latches and open the container. Lift off thetop part and empty the lower part of the container.Replacing the motor 80When mounting the motor make sure that the switch isdirectly over the suction inlet of the container and the plugis turned backwards.Replacing the motor 902. Reset the motor so that the on/off switch is opposite themotor mounting mark on the container and the plug isturned backwards. Turn the motor clockwise until a dis-tinct click is heard. If the motor will not lock into positionby turning, then press the red locking lever inside thecontainer in the direction of the arrow.8 Suction with dust bagThe cleaner is supplied with a two-ply self-locating dustbags. To release the container, unfasten the two latchesand lift off the upper part with the motor/filter section. Fixthe dust bag as follows:1. Pierce the dust bag’s perforation and place it in the low-er container.2. Pull the dust bag plastic plate over the suction inlet withboth hands. Unfold the dust bag carefully. Replace thetop container and lock the two latches.NoteThe suction efficiency depends on the size and quality ofthe dust bag. Use original Nilfisk bags only. If non-Nilfiskdust bags are used, and airflow restricted, overheating ofthe motor and subsequent damage may result.9 Exhaust filterExhaust filters is used when absolutely clean exhaust airis necessary. The exhaust filter is mounted on to the motorin place of the diffuser. The exhaust filter is easily fittedand the fllter element is replaceable. A special handle isdelivered together with the exhaust filter.10 Blowing attachmentMountingRemove the diffuser and sound absorber (see page 2)Place the blowing adaptor 11562000 on the motor. Eachone is kept in place by handle of the motor.Fit the blowing attachment into the motor blowing adap-tors.Before connecting a hose make sure that it is clean - place itsopen end in the container inlet for a moment with the motorsrunning and shake it.MaintenanceAlways keep the cleaner in a dry place.
