It contains information about technicaldata, safety, operation, storage, maintenance, spare parts anddisposal.Before performing any procedure on the machine, read thisManual carefully. Contact Nilfisk in case of doubts concerningthe interpretation of the instructions and for any furtherinformation.Keep the manual in the appropriate envelope for future use or incase of resale of the equipment.TARGETThis Manual is intended for operators and technicians qualifiedto perform the machine maintenance.Users must not perform procedures reserved for qualifiedtechnicians. Nilfisk will not be answerable for damages comingfrom the non-observance of this prohibition.DECLARATION OF CONFORMITYThe Declaration of Conformity, supplied with the machine,certifies the machine conformity with the law in force.NOTETwo copies of the original declaration ofconformity are provided together with the machinedocumentation.IDENTIFICATION DATAThe machine serial number and model name are marked on theplate (5).Product number and year of production are marked on the sameplate.This information is useful when requiring machine spare parts.Use the following table to write down the machine identificationdata.MACHINE model ....................................................................PRODUCT code .....................................................................MACHINE serial number ........................................................OTHER REFERENCE MANUALS– Service Manual (that can be consulted at Nilfisk ServiceCenters)– Spare Parts List (supplied with the machine)SPARE PARTS AND MAINTENANCEAny repair procedure must be performed by qualified personnelor by Nilfisk Service Centers.Only original spare parts and accessories must be used.Contact Nilfisk for service or to order spare parts andaccessories, specifying the machine model, product code andserial number.CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTSNilfisk constantly improves its products and reserves the rightto make changes and improvements at its discretion withoutbeing obliged to apply such benefits to the machines that werepreviously sold.Any change and/or addition of accessory must be approved andperformed by Nilfisk.MACHINE FUNCTIONSThis scrubber-dryer has been designed and built for commercialuse and for cleaning (scrubbing and drying) smooth andcompact floors.The scrubber-dryer can be used on carpet when carpetaccessories are installed.CONVENTIONSForward, backward, front, rear, left or right are intended withreference to the operator’s position when in use.UNPACKING/DELIVERYWhen the machine is delivered, check that the packing and themachine were not damaged during transportation.In case of visible damages, keep the packing and haveit checked by the carrier that delivered it.
