Place the lids and attachments on thetop rack. Use caution when handling the bladeassemblies as the blades are very sharp.NOTE: You may also wash the containers by filling ¾of the container with warm water and a drop of dishwashing detergent, placing the corresponding lid on thecontainer and pressing the pulse button a few times.Once clean, remove the container from the motor base.Rinse the container, attachment and lid under runningwater. Do not place anything ontop. Store the bowl with the 4-Blade assembly insideand the lid on top. Store the single serve cup and therest of the attachments along side the appliance orin a cabinet where they will not be damaged andwon’t cause a hazard.RESETTING THE MOTOR THERMOSTATThe Ninja ® Mega Kitchen System features a uniquesafety system which prevents damage to the unit’smotor and drive system should you inadvertentlyoverload your appliance. If the appliance is beingoverloaded, the motor will stop and the power light willremain lit and speeds 1, 2 and 3 will flash. To reset theappliance, follow the resetting procedure below:1 Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.2 Remove and empty the container and ensurethat no food is jamming the cutting blades orattachments.3 Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 15minutes.4 Re-install the container onto the base and re-plugthe appliance into the electrical outlet.5 Proceed to use the appliance as before makingsure not to exceed the recommended maximumcapacities.BL770_series_30_IB_ENG_120627_3.indd 14 12-06-27 11:55 AM
