1 2 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSFor Household Use Only 22 To disconnect, turn the Function Dial to“Off”, then remove the plug from the walloutlet.23 This appliance has a cut off switch whichwill not allow the appliance to heat if thecooking pot is not inserted into the housingor removed while cooking.24 THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FORHOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. Do not use outdoors.25 To avoid the possibility of the cooking systembeing accidentally being pulled off thecounter top or tabletop, which could resultin damage to the cooking system or personalinjury, do not let the power cord hang overthe edge of the counter or table.26 Leaving food out too long at roomtemperature can cause bacteria to grow todangerous levels that can cause illnesses.In the event of a loss of power, an errormessage will display on the unit. It isrecommended to dispose of any food that hasbeen at room temperature for more than anhour.NOTE: This unit has a short power supply cordto reduce the risk resulting from becomingentangled in or tripping over a long cord. Alonger extension cord may be used if you arecareful in its use.1. If using a longer extension cord, the electricalrating of the extension cord should be ratedat least 15 amperes. Extension cords rated forless amperage may overheat.2. This plugwill fit into a polarized outlet only one way.If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet,reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contacta qualified electrician to install the properoutlet. DO NOT modify the plug in anyway.10 Extreme caution must be used whenmoving an appliance containing hotoil or other hot liquids. Always useoven mitts or pot holders when movingthe cooking system. Allow hot oil tocool prior to removal or cleaning theappliance.11 To avoid possible steam damage, place thecooking system away from walls and cabinetsduring use.12 When using this appliance, provide adequateair space above and on all sides for aircirculation. On surfaces where heat maycause a problem, use of an insulated heat pador trivet is recommended.13 Use extreme caution when removing the lidafter cooking. Serious burns can result fromthe steam inside. Always lift and tilt the lidaway from you when removing using care toensure that water does not drip back into theappliance.14 DO NOT use outdoors or anywhere the cordor unit housing might come into contact withwater while in use.15 Do not use the appliance for anything otherthan its intended use.16 DO NOT obstruct the steam release ventduring use.17 Always position the steam vent hole in theback of the unit away from you.18 DO NOT place or operate this appliance on ornear any hot surfaces (such as gas or electricburner, stove or in a heated oven).19 The use of attachments or accessories notrecommended by the manufacturer mayresult in fire, electric shock or personal injury.20 DO NOT use this appliance for deep frying.21 CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OFELECTRIC SHOCK, COOK ONLY IN THEPOT PROVIDED OR IN CONTAINERSRECOMMENDED BY EURO-PROPLACED ON THE COOKING RACK INTHE PROVIDED POT. Return the appliance toEURO-PRO Operating LLC for examination,repair or adjustment.7 Please refer to the Cleaning & Maintenancesection for regular maintenance of theappliance. Return the appliance to EURO-PROOperating LLC for any other servicing.8 DO NOT let the power cord touch hotsurfaces such as the stove.9 Always use the appliance on a dry, levelsurface. |
