36 3710 Error MessagesIf an error occurs, a message like the following* may appear on the TV screen.Proceed according to the following table.* Wording may be subject to change in further Wii system updates.Error Message Try ThisAn error has occurred.Turn the console off, then press theOPEN Button and remove the disc.Please read the Operations Manualfor further instructions.First, turn the Wii mini console power off (Standby Mode), and remove the Wii PowerSupply (RVL-002(EUR)) AC plug from the power socket, pull the plug and not the cord.Next, check whether the disc is dirty or scratched. If it is dirty, gently wipe with a softcloth from the centre to the outside. Wait about 5 minutes. Then plug the Wii PowerSupply AC plug back into the power socket and turn the console power on. If the samemessage still appears, the Wii mini console may be damaged. Turn the Wii mini consoleoff immediately. Remove the Wii Power Supply's AC plug from the plug, and visithttp://support.nintendo.com for additional troubleshooting.The Wii Remote is experiencing anerror. Refer to the Wii OperationsManual for details.The disc could not be read. Refer tothe Wii Operations Manual for details.See the chapter “Troubleshooting” on pages 33– 35.The disc may be dirty or damaged. First, remove the disc and check for contamination,dirt, scratches or other irregularities. If necessary, clean the disc by wiping with a softcotton cloth (do not use paper) from the centre to the outside. Then reload the disc in theWii mini console and turn the power on again. If the same error message still appears,visit http://support.nintendo.com for additional troubleshooting.There is not enough available space inthe Wii System Memory. However, we would suggest that you first double-check with your local retailerwhether they will offer you this service.Either way, this product will then be treated in an environmentally sound manner at a licensed recyclingplant and its components will be recovered, recycled or reused in the most efficient way possible, in compliancewith the requirements of the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment ((2012/19/EU) of 4July 2012.Under applicable environmental laws, you should always use the available separate collection systemsfor waste electrical and electronic equipment. In some countries, failure to use these systems mayeven result in sanctions being taken against you.Notes:1. Waste electrical and electronic equipment may contain hazardous substances, which, if not treatedproperly, can be harmful to the environment and human health. Specific treatment of waste electrical andelectronic equipment is therefore indispensable.2.
