(Some software titles do not require a sensor bar.)Installing the Sensor BarConnect the sensor bar to the Wii Uconsole.• Make sure the sensor bar plug is inserted completelyinto the connector.• If you already have a sensor bar installed for a Wiiconsole, you can switch it to the Wii U console, ratherthan installing an additional one.Remove the protective film from thefoam pads on the bottom of thesensor bar.Place the sensor bar above or below the TV screen.See sensor bar Placement Guidelines on the next page for reference.If you place your sensor bar under the TV screen:On the Wii U Menu in SystemSettings, select Wii Remote andSensor Bar, Set Sensor BarPosition, and set the position ofthe sensor bar to Below the TV.(This is necessary for properoperation of the Wii Remote controllers.)
