38Authentication Option SettingAuthentication options, sensor options, attendance mode, and carduse can be configured.DefaultIn the basic authentication menu,settings related to authenticationlevel, saving of logs, and the use of1:N authentication can be configured.Settings can be changed by pressing“Authentication” -> “Default”.Setting 1:1/1:N AuthenticationMethodThe NAC-5000 supports 1:1 and 1:Nauthentication methods. In 1:1authentication, an ID must beinputted for authentication. In 1:Nauthentication, user ID is notentered, and authentication is doneby searching all users.1:1 is recommended for fast authen-tication, and 1:N authentication isrecommended to simplify theauthentication procedure.To use 1:N authentication, select1:N Authentication and change “No”to “Yes.” |
