If the device is switched on, select from theavailable USB mode options on the display of thedevice.Insert the memory cardUse a memory card to save the memory on your device.You can also back up information from your device tothe memory card.Use only compatible microSD cards approved by Nokiafor use with this device. Nokia uses approved industrystandards for memory cards, but some brands may notbe fully compatible with this device. Incompatiblecards may damage the card and the device and corruptdata stored on the card.Keep all memory cards out of the reach ofsmall children.Check the compatibility of a memory cardwith its manufacturer or provider.A compatible memory card may be included inthe sales package. The memory card may bealready inserted in the device. If not, do the following:1. Open the cover of the memory card slot.2. Insert the memory card in the slot with the contactarea first. Ensure the contact area is facing theconnectors on the device.3. Push the card in until it locks into place.4. Close the cover of the memory card slot.Eject the memory cardImportant: Do not remove the memory card inthe middle of an operation when the card is beingaccessed. Removing the card in the middle of anoperation may damage the memory card as well as thedevice, and data stored on the card may be corrupted.1. Press the power key briefly, and select Removememory card.2. Open the cover of the memory card slot.3. Press the end of the memory card to release it fromthe memory card slot, and remove the card.4. Close the cover of the memory card slot.First start-up1. Press and hold the power keyuntil you feel the devicevibrate.2.
