Observe restrictions on the use of radioequipment in fuel depots, storage, and distributionareas; chemical plants; or where blasting operationsare in progress. Areas with a potentially explosiveatmosphere are often, but not always, clearlymarked. They include below deck on boats, chemicaltransfer or storage facilities and areas where the aircontains chemicals or particles such as grain, dust,or metal powders.
