MAKING A CALLÊ Key in the area code and the phone number of the per-son you wish to call.• If you make a mistake, you can delete the digits one byone by pressing the C key repeatedly or clear the wholedisplay by pressing and holding down the C key.Ë Press the key to dial the phone number. Theindicator will come on and the text CALLING and thedialled number will be displayed.• If you want to cancel the call, press .Ì When the phone number disappears and the text CALL 1is shown, the call is connected. Wait for the answer, thenspeak.• To view the duration of the call, press Menu 6 1 1.• To alter the volume of the phone’s earpiece, use thetwo buttons on the side of the phone. The upper buttonincreases the volume and the lower button decreases it.• To mute the phone’s microphone, press and hold theMenu selection key for a second, press or tomove the pointer to Mute and press the OK selectionkey.
