SettingsUse this menu to set or change profiles, tone settings, call settings, phonesettings, phone details, time and date settings, voice navigation, enhancementsettings, security settings, or to restore the factory settings.■ ProfilesProfiles define how your phone reacts when you receive a call or message, howyour keypad sounds when you press a key, and more. Ringing options, keypadtones, and other settings for each of the available profiles can be customized orleft at their default setting. The following profiles are available: Normal, Silent,Meeting, Outdoor, and Pager.Profiles are also available for enhancements such as a headset and car kit. See"Enhancement settings," page 58.Activate1. At the main screen, select Menu >Settings > Profiles.2. Select the profile of your choice.3. Select Activate.Personalize a profileYou can personalize any of the profiles a variety of ways.1. At the main screen, select Menu >Settings > Profiles.2. Select the profile you wish to customize.3. Select Customize.4. Select the option you want to customize: Incoming call alert, Ringtone,Ringtone volume, Vibrating alert, Message alert tone, Keypad tones, Warningtones, Alert for, or Profile name.You cannot rename the Normal profile.Select Alert for to set the phone to ring only upon calls from phone numbers thatbelong to a selected caller group. Scroll to the caller group you want or All calls,and select Mark or Unmark > Done. To set the phone to ring for every call, selectAll calls > Mark > Done.
