Ringing options,keypad tones, and other settings for each of the available profiles can be left atthe default setting or customized to suit your needs. See"Enhancement settings," p. 51, for more information about enhancementprofiles.■ ActivateIn the standby mode, select Menu > Profiles > the profile of your choice >Activate.■ Customize a profileYou can customize the profiles in a variety of ways.You cannot rename the Normal profile.1. In the standby mode, select Menu > Profiles.2. Highlight the profile you wish to customize; select Customize, and the optionyou want to customize.■ Set a timed profileTimed profiles can prevent missed calls. For example, if you attend an event thatrequires your phone to be Silent, but you forget to return it to Normal, a timedprofile returns your phone to the default profile at the time you specify. Timedprofiles can be set up to 24 hours in advance.1. In the standby mode, select Menu > Profiles.2. Select the profile you wish to activate and Timed for timed expiration.3.
