M e s s a g e s21Receive MIDI ring tonesCopyright protections may prevent some images, music (including ring tones)and other content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.When the device receives a ring tone message, it displays a ring tone alertmessage. Select Show to view the ring tone message, or view the Inbox ifmultiple ring tones are available. Select Exit to return to the standby mode anddiscard the ring tone. To retrieve a waiting ring tone, select Retrieve. The messageis stored in the Inbox.Select Options when viewing the waiting ring tone message for the followingfunctions:Play—Plays the ring tone for your review.Save—Saves the ring tone to the Downloaded tones folder.Save & activate—Saves the ring tone to the Downloaded tones folder and uses itas the device ring tone.Delete—Removes the waiting ring tone message without downloading it.Open tones—Opens the Downloaded tones folder for you to view. This option onlyappears when at least one ring tone is saved.Details—Displays information about the waiting ring tone, such as the sender’sname or number.Send items and draftsThe Sent items folder stores copies of the messages that you have sent. The Draftsfolder stores messages that you saved while you were writing them. To save amessage while writing, select Options > Save message.While viewing a message, select Options for other functions.Distribution listsIf you need to send messages frequently to a fixed group of recipients, you candefine a distribution list and use it to send a message. You can define up to 6distribution lists, each with up to 10 recipients. The device sends a text messageto each recipient separately.Define a distribution list1. In the standby mode, select Menu > Messages > Distribution lists. Highlightan empty list and select Options > Add list.
