Do not switch on the phone when wireless phone use is prohibited orwhen it may cause interference or danger.You can save up to 500 entries (contacts and associated numbers) in your phone book.Phone memory can store multiple numbers for each name (home, business, mobile,etc.), as well as text information (postal address, e-mail address, or note).Note: The amount of detail stored for each entry mayaffect the total number of entries available.• SAVING CONTACTS AND NUMBERSThere are several ways to save contacts and numbers in yourphone book. Instructions for the two most common ways are asfollows:SAVE A NUMBER AND NAME (USING PHONE BOOK MENU)1 Press Contacts.2 Scroll to Add new and press Select.3 Enter the name and press OK.4 Enter the area code (as necessary) and phone number, then press OK.SAVE A NUMBER AND NAME (QUICK SAVE)1 Enter the phone number using the keypad.2 Press the left selection key twice (Options > Save).3 Enter a name and press OK.4 Press Done to return to the Start screen.Tip: Press and hold the Options selection key for two seconds after enteringthe number to store the number only.• RECALL CONTACTS AND NUMBERSThere are several ways to recall phone book entries. Once you locate the desired nameand number from the phone book, you can perform any of the following tasks: call thenumber, edit or add information to the selected phone book entry, or delete the entry.• Press the up or down scroll keys to display the list of phone book entries.• Press repeatedly to scroll through the list of contacts.• Press Contacts, select Search, enter the first few letters of the entry, then pressSearch.Tip: When viewing the list of contacts, enter the first few letters of the desiredentry. The phone book automatically jumps to that section of the phone book.
