20Making PIN Calls1 Make the call as usual (refer to “Making a Call” onpage 13).The phone displays PIN CALL.2 After you hear a tone, press SEND again.The phone displays SENDING PIN ... . If themessage remains on the display, press SEND again toresend the PIN code. Wait for your call to beconnected.Note: If you’re in a network that doesn’t support PIN Calls,but your phone has PIN Call On, the phone still tries tosend a PIN. Press CLR to end the PIN Call attempt.Note: When the phone is set to PIN CALL ON, anemergency call to the emergency number programmedinto your phone (e.g., 911 or another official emergencynumber) will be dialed as a normal call without the PINcode request.Deactivating PIN Call• Follow the steps in “Activating PIN Call”, but don’tenter your PIN Code at the prompt; just press OK.The phone briefly displays PIN CALL OFF.Voice and Text MessagesIf you subscribe to voicemail, callers will be able to leaveyou voice mail messages which you can recall from yourvoice mailbox.If you have purchased the Nokia 252N and subscribe to atext message network service, callers may send you shorttext messages that you can read on your phone’s display.For more details, refer to “Network Services” on page 69.
