All rights reserved. 33Security settingsWhen security features that restrict calls are in use (such as call barring,closed user group and fixed dialing) calls still may be possible to theofficial emergency number programmed into your device.Press Menu and select Settings, Security settings and• PIN code request to set your phone to ask for the PIN code of the SIMcard when the phone is switched on. Some SIM cards do not allow thisfunction to be turned off.• Call barring service. With this Network service, you can restrict themaking and receiving of calls with your phone. Select one of thebarring options and set the option on (Activate) or off (Cancel) orcheck whether a service is activated (Check status).• Closed user group. With this Network service, you can specify a groupof people whom you can call and who can call you.• Security level to set the phone to ask for the security code when a newSIM card is inserted in the phone, Phone, or when you select thephone’s internal phone book, Memory.Note that when you change the security level, all the recent calls lists,including missed calls, received calls and dialled numbers, may becleared.• Change access codes to change the security code, PIN code, PIN2 codeor barring password. These codes can include the numbers 0 to 9 only.Avoid using access codes similar to the emergency numbers, such as112, to prevent accidental dialling of the emergency number.
