A d d r e s s B o o k32If the alarm time is reached when the device is in the standby mode, the devicesounds a tone and flashes the note text (if it is set) or Countdown completed. Tostop the alarm press any key. If no key is pressed, the alarm automatically stopswithin 60 seconds. To stop the alarm and to delete the note text, select Exit. Torestart the countdown timer, select Restart.StopwatchSelect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Stopwatch to measure time, take intermediatetimes, or take lap times using the stopwatch. During timing, the other functions ofthe device can be used. To set the stopwatch timing in the background, press theend key.Using the stopwatch or allowing it to run in the background when using otherfeatures increases the demand on battery power and reduces the battery life.13. Address Book■ Save and manage contact informationTo save and manage contact information, such as names, phone numbers, andaddresses, select Menu > Address Book > Names.To add a new contact, select Options > Add New Contact. Fill in the desired fields,and select Save.To view names and numbers from a SIM card, device memory, or both, selectMenu > Address Book > Settings > Memory in use. Selecting SIM memory displayscontacts saved on your SIM card.To copy names and numbers from a SIM card to your device or vice versa, scroll tothe contact (or mark the desired contacts), and select Options > Copy Contact andcopy the number to device memory or to the SIM card.
