As with any other radiotransmitting device, do not touch the antenna unnecessarilywhen the phone is switched on. Contact with the antennaaffects call quality and may cause the phone to operate at ahigher power level than otherwise needed.Not touching the antenna area during a phone call optimisesthe antenna performance and the talktime of your phone.■ Keypad lock (Keyguard)You can lock the keypad to prevent the keys being accidentally pressed.Press (Menu or Unlock) and then within 1.5 seconds to lock orunlock the keypad.An incoming call can be handled normally. When you end or reject thecall, the keypad will automatically be locked again.For automatic keypad lock, see Automatic keyguard on page 39.Note: When the keypad is locked, calls may be possible to theemergency number programmed into your phone (e.g. 112, 911 or otherofficial emergency number). Key in the emergency number and press. The number is displayed only after you have keyed in its lastdigit.
