It is much faster thestandard mode method, because foreach letter, you only press thecorresponding key on your keypadonce.Activate/deactivateAt any text entry screen, press andhold Options. Predictive text(Dictionary) is turned on and off,depending on its previous mode.OR1. At any text entry screen, selectOptions > Dictionary and pressSelect.2. Scroll to the language of yourchoice and press Select.Note: The language settingaffects the time and dateformats of the clock, alarmclock, and calendar.Text entryThe illustration below simulates yourdisplay each time a key is pressed.For example, to write Nokia withpredictive text on and with theEnglish dictionary selected, presseach of the following keys once:the 6 key the 6 key the 5 key the 4 key the 2 key• Press the 0 key to enter a spaceand begin writing the next word.• If a displayed word is not correct,press the * key to see othermatches. To return to theprevious word in the list ofmatches, press Previous.• If ? appears after a word, pressSpell to add the word to thedictionary.• Press the 1 key to insert a periodinto your message.• Press and hold the * key to displayspecial characters. Press the * keyagain to cycle through allavailable characters.• Press the # key to switchpredictive text on or off and touse predictive text in variousmodes.
