You may also be able to send and receive picture messages, enhancedmessages, multimedia messages and e-mail messages.Note: When sending messages, your device may display the words “Messagesent.” This is an indication that the message has been sent by your device to themessage center number programmed into your device. This is not an indicationthat the message has been received at the intended destination. For moredetails, about messaging services, check with your service provider.■ Text messagesWrite and send1. At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Create message >Text > Add number and press Select.To go quickly to the Create message display, press the Scroll left key from the startscreen.2. Enter the recipient’s phone number, or press Search to retrieve a number from yourcontacts list, and press Select , then press OK.After a brief pause, the recipients list will be displayed.3. Scroll to the recipient and press Options.4. Scroll to Edit message and press Select.5. Compose a message using the keypad and press Options.6. Scroll to Send and press Select.TemplatesTemplates are short, pre-written messages which can be recalled and inserted into newtext messages when you’re short on time.1.
