The signature canbe traced back to you via the privatekey and the associated certificatethat was used for the signature.Using the digital signature can is thesame as signing your name to apaper bill, contract or otherdocument.To use the digital signature, select alink on a WAP page, for example, thetitle of a book you want to buy andits price. The text to be signed,possibly including the amount anddate, for example, will be shown.Check that the header text is Readand the digital signature icon isshown.Note: If the digital signatureicon does not appear, thereis a security breach, and youshould not enter anypersonal data such as yoursigning PIN.To sign the text, read all of the textfirst and then select Sign.Note: The text may not fitwithin a single screen.Therefore, make sure toscroll through and read allof the text before signing.Select the user certificate you wantto use. Key in the signing PIN andpress OK. The digital signature iconwill disappear and the WAP servicemay display a confirmation of yourpurchase.Signing PINThe signing PIN is supplied with theSIM card if the SIM card includes asecurity module.■ WalletIn Wallet you can save personalinformation and make purchasesusing your phone.You can access the wallet via theWallet menu or via the WAPbrowser, see ”General guidelines forusing the phone keys” on page 44.
