S e t t i n g sData transferSynchronise your calendar, contacts data, and notes withanother compatible device (for example, a mobile phone),a compatible PC, or a remote internet server (networkservice).Your phone allows data transfer with a compatible PC oranother compatible device when using the phone withouta SIM card.Transfer contact listTo copy or synchronise data from your phone, the name ofthe device and the settings must be in the list of transfercontacts. If you receive data from another device (forexample, a compatible mobile phone), the correspondingtransfer contact is automatically added to the list, usingthe contact data from the other device. Server sync andPC synchronisation are the original items in the list.Data transfer with a compatibledeviceFor synchronisation, use Bluetooth wireless technology ora cable connection. The other device must be activated forreceiving data.To start data transfer, select Menu > Settings >Connectivity > Data transfer and the transfer contactfrom the list, other than Server sync or PCsynchronisation. According to the settings, the selecteddata is copied or synchronised.Synchronise from a compatible PCTo synchronise data from calendar, notes, and contacts,install the Nokia PC Suite software for your phone on thePC.
