The connector may be protected by a rubbercap. If it is, first remove the cap when connecting the external an-tenna. After removing the antenna, replace the cap.Note: Keep the cap out of the reach of small children.Battery InformationThe following manufacturer-approved rechargeable batteries areavailable for your phone: NiMH batteries BMS-2V, BMS-2S andBMS-2, and Li-Ion batteries BLS-2 and BLS-4.Charging and Discharging the Battery• Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery.• Note that a new battery's full performance is achieved only aftertwo or three complete charge and discharge cycles!• The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of timesbut it will eventually wear out. When the operating time (talk-time and stand-by time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it istime to buy a new battery.• Use only batteries approved by the phone manufacturer and re-charge your battery only with the chargers approved by themanufacturer.• When a charger is not in use, disconnect it from the powersource. Do not leave the battery connected to a charger for long-er than a week, since overcharging may shorten its life.
