When Quit browsing? is shown, press Yes. Alternatively,press twice, or press and hold .Appearance settingsYou can change the appearance of the pages. While browsing, press Options, and select Other options → Appear. settings, orin standby mode, press Menu, and select Services → Settings → Appearance settings.• To select whether text wrapping is used, select Text wrapping. Select On to have text continue on the next line, or selectOff to have the text abbreviated.• To set the font size, select Font size, and select Small, Normal, or Large.• If you do not want the pictures on the page to be shown, select Show images → No. This can speed up the browsing ofpages that contain a lot of pictures.• To set the phone to alert when a secure connection changes to an unsecure one during browsing, select Alerts → Alertfor unsecure connection → Yes. To set the phone to alert when a secured page contains an unsecure item, select Alert forunsecure items → Yes.• To select the encoding for the browser page content, select Character encoding → Content encoding. If you want thephone to send addresses to browser pages as a UTF-8 encoding, select Unicode (UTF-8) web addresses → On.BookmarksYour device may have some bookmarks loaded for sites not affiliated with Nokia. Nokia does not warrant or endorse thesesites. If you choose to access them, you should take the same precautions, for security or content, as you would with anyInternet site.You can save addresses of browser pages as bookmarks in the phone memory.Selecting a bookmark1. While browsing, press Options, and select Bookmarks, or in standby mode, press Menu, and select Services → Bookmarks.2. Scroll to the bookmark that you want to use, and press Select or to make a connection to the page associated withthe bookmark.Press Options, and you can select, for example, to view, edit, delete, or send the bookmark.Receiving a bookmarkWhen you receive a bookmark (sent as bookmark), 1 bookmark received is displayed. Press Show, and press Save to save thebookmark. PressOptions, and selectView to view the bookmark or Delete to delete it.DownloadingImportant: Only install applications from sources that offer adequate protection against harmful software.You can download tones, images, games, or applications to the phone while browsing. Press Options, select Download links,and select Tone downloads, Graphic downloads, Game downloads, or App. downloads.Service inboxThe phone can receive service messages (pushed messages) from your service provider. Service messages are notificationsof, for example, news headlines, and they may contain a text message or an address of a service.Viewing service messages• To view a received service message, press Show. If you press Exit, the message is moved to Service inbox. To access theService inbox later, press Menu, and select Services → Service inbox.• To manage a service message while browsing, press Options, and select Other options → Service inbox.
