It isillegal to copy such musictracks for the purpose ofselling or distributingthem.To record music from the FM radio,turn the radio on and select theRecorder option from the Musicmenu. To record from externalaudio equipment, first connect thedevice to the phone. Start playingthe external audio equipment andthen select the Recorder option.You can record or transfer musicfiles of up to 2 hours of near CD-quality music to the approximately64 MB of free memory in yourphone.To stop recording, press Stop. Thenselect either Save or Delete.• If you select to save the musicrecording, type in the trackname and press (OK).Type in the name of the artistand press (Save). Themusic track is now saved inyour device memory.You cannot make phone callswhile recording music with yourphone. To make a call, press andhold to cancel the recordingand return the phone to standbymode.If you receive a phone call whilerecording music, the recordingcontinues unless you answer thephone. If you answer the phone,you can choose to save or deletethe interrupted recording after thephone call.Track list (Menu 8-4)You can view and play the musictracks that you have stored in yourphone. You can also remove tracks.To play one of the music tracks onthe list, select the track, press(Options), and select Play. TheMusic player starts to play theselected track. After the track hasended, the Music player continuesplaying the following tracks on thelist. To return to the Track list,press .To delete music tracks, select atrack, press (Options) in theTrack list and select Delete. Youcan also select the Memory statusoption to check the amounts offree and used memory in yourphone.
