Lock codes must be 4characters in length.Note: When you change your lock code, make sure you store it in a safeplace, away from your phone. Avoid entering access codes similar toemergency numbers to prevent accidental emergency calls.• Call restrictions—Allows you to restrict incoming and outgoing calls. You canrestrict all calls or create a custom list of numbers to restrict.• Voice privacy—This option may be set to on or off.Restrict callsCall restriction is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information.If your wireless service provider supports this feature, you can restrict the calls yourphone can make and receive. When calls are restricted, calls still may be possible to theofficial emergency number programmed into your phone.Note: Contact your service provider for the restriction password.1. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Security settings > Call restrictions.2. Enter the lock code, and press OK. See Phone lock, 52 for more information.3. Select the types of calls you wish to restrict:Restrict outgoing calls—Calls cannot be made.Restrict incoming calls—Calls cannot be received.4. Select an option (Select, Add restriction, Edit, or Delete).Activate or deactivate lock codesThe phone lock feature protects your phone from unauthorized outgoing calls orunauthorized access to information stored in the phone. When phone lock is activated,Phone locked is displayed each time you turn your phone on.When the phone is locked, calls still may be possible to the official emergency numberprogrammed into your phone.1.
