All rights reserved.y When this setting is selected, the car kit phone will bevisible for other Bluetooth devices for a period of time of 30seconds before the original Bluetooth wireless connection isre-established.y When your car kit phone is not connected to a compatibledevice using Bluetooth wireless technology, its visibility forother Bluetooth devices depends on the setting made in theVisibility menu. In this case, it is not necessary to select thesecond Bluetooth connection option, for example, in orderto establish a wireless connection from a device such as alaptop with Bluetooth technology to the car kit phone.a To access this option, with the display in standby, scroll withto the Bluetooth menu and press to open it.a Scroll with to Allow second connection and pressto select this option.a Scroll with to the desired option Yes or No and pressto select it.User dataThe car kit phone can store and administrate data or settingsunder two different user data profiles. A user profile, forexample, includes contact entries, name tags and voicecommands or car kit phone settings. Now two users sharing thecar can access their personalised user data using the same SIMcard simply by activating their personal user profile.y The indicator for the currently active user profile is shown inthe status row of the display. If user profile 1 is active, asmall black phone icon is shown; user profile 2 is indicatedby a small white phone icon if active. One of the userprofiles is active in the car kit phone at all times. When thecar kit phone is put into service for the first time, userprofile 1 is active.Download contactsYou can use this feature to copy contact entries from the carSIM card inserted in the car kit phone or from a compatiblemobile phone supporting Bluetooth wireless technology to thecar kit phone memory.y This feature is important because you do not have directaccess to the contact entries stored on a car SIM cardinserted in the car kit phone. To access these numbers, youfirst need to copy them into the car kit phone memory.Follow the instructions shown on the display.a With the display in standby, press to access thesesettings.
