Do notconnect incompatible products.As with other mobile radio transmitting equipment, users areadvised that for the satisfactory operation of the equipment andfor the safety of personnel, it is recommended that the equip-ment should only be used in the normal operating position (heldto your ear with the antenna pointing over your shoulder).Electronic DevicesMost modern electronic equipment is shielded from radiofrequency (RF) signals. However, certain electronic equipment maynot be shielded against the RF signals from your wireless phone.PacemakersPacemaker manufacturers recommend that a minimum separa-tion of 6 inches (20 cm.) be maintained between a handheldwireless phone and a pacemaker to avoid potential interferencewith the pacemaker. These recommendations are consistentwith the independent research by and recommendations ofWireless Technology Research. Persons with pacemakers:• Should always keep the phone more than 6 inches (20 cm)from their pacemaker when the phone is switched on;• Should not carry the phone in a breast pocket;• Should use the ear opposite the pacemaker to minimizethe potential for interference.• If you have any reason to suspect that interference istaking place, switch off your phone immediately.Hearing AidsSome digital wireless phones may interfere with some hearingaids. In the event of such interference, you may want to consultyour service provider.
