27Caller IDThis is a network service that helps identify incomingcalls. Contact your service provider for details.When Caller ID is active, your phone may display thecaller’s phone number. The caller’s name may also displayif their name and number has been stored in the phonebook or if the wireless network supports it.Call or Call-caller ID unavailable will display when thewireless network doesn’t recognize the calling number.Also, Call-caller ID blocked may display if the callingparty has blocked caller ID.Note: If you have stored a number more than once in your phonebook, and that number is stored each time with a different name,then a name will not appear when someone calls from that number.See “Phone book” on page 51 for details on your phone book.Calling cardIf you wish to use a calling card forlong distance calls, you must firststore your calling card informationinto your phone. Your phone canstore up to four calling cards.Storing a calling card1. Press Menu 4-1-3 (Settings - Call settings - Callingcard)2. Press W or V to desired calling card, press Options3. Press W or V to Edit, press OK4. Enter security code and press OKSee “Security code” on page 62 for details on your phone’s securitycode.5. Press Select at the Dialing sequence prompt. Usethe following chart to determine the dialingsequence required by your long distance provider.Then press W or V to select the appropriatesequence for your card.
