The signature canbe traced back to you via the privatekey on the security module and theuser certificate that was used toperform the signature. Using thedigital signature can be the same assigning your name to a paper bill,contract or other document.To make a digital signature, select alink on a page, for example, the titleof the book you want to buy and itsprice. The text to sign (possiblyincluding amount, date, etc.) will beshown.Check that the header text is Readand that the digital signature iconis shown.Note: If the digital signatureicon does not appear, thereis a security breach, and youshould not enter anypersonal data such as yoursigning PIN.To sign the text, read all of the textfirst and then you can select Sign.Note: The text may not fitwithin a single screen.Therefore, make sure toscroll through and read allof the text before signing.Select the user certificate you wantto use. Key in the signing PIN (see”General information” on page 7)and press OK. The digital signatureicon will disappear, and the servicemay display a confirmation of yourpurchase.■ SIM servicesYour SIM card may provideadditional services that you canaccess in this menu that is shownonly if it is supported by your SIMcard. The name and contents of themenu depend entirely on the serviceavailable.Note: For availability, ratesand information on usingSIM services, contact yourSIM card vendor, e.g.network operator, serviceprovider or other vendor.You can set the phone to show youthe confirmation messages sentbetween your phone and thenetwork when you are using the SIMservices by selecting the option Yeswithin the menu Confirm SIMservice actions, in Phone settings.
