For example, charging a BP-6M Li-Ion batterywith the AC-4 charger takes about 1 hour and 55 minutes while the phone is in the standby mode.■ Switch the phone on and offWarning: Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference ordanger.Press and hold the power key as shown.If the phone asks for a PIN or UPIN code, enter the code, and select OK.You can switch on the phone in demo mode without a SIM card inserted. In this mode, allbearer-independent features are available, and you can make emergency calls.Set the time, time zone, and dateEnter the local time, select the time zone of your location in terms of the time difference withrespect to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and enter the date.
