The PINcode must be 4 digits in length. Afterthree successive incorrect entries thePIN code is blocked and you will beasked to enter the personal unblockingkey (PUK) code. See ”Personalunblocking key (PUK) code” on page63 for more information.Note: The PIN code must beobtained from your wirelessservice provider. The PINcode is typically providedwith your UIM card.PIN code requestEnable your phone to request thePIN code when powered on. Thisprovides extra security in case yourphone is lost or stolen.1. At the standby mode screen,select Menu > Settings > Securitysettings > PIN code request.2. Enter the PIN code, and press OK.3. Select On, and press OK.Change PIN codeBefore you can change your PINcode, you will need to enable PINcode request. See ”PIN code request”on page 63.1.
