When you disconnect the power cord of anyenhancement, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord.1. Connect the charger to a wall socket.2. Connect the lead from the charger to the CA-44 charging adapter (1), andthe adapter to the socket on the bottom of your phone (2).If the battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes before thecharging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made.The charging time depends on the charger and the battery used. For example,charging a BP-6M Li-Ion battery with the AC-4 charger takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes while the phone isin the standby mode.■ Switch the phone on and offWarning: Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference ordanger.
