[ 79 ]Personalize phone settings11Set up a speed-dial key1 Press Names and scroll to 1-touch dialing.2 Press Select.3 Use or to scroll to the first number that includes themessage (empty) and press Assign.4 Use or to scroll to the name and number to which youwant to assign this key and press Select.Repeat these steps for as many keys as you want to set up.5 To call a number using speed dialing, press and hold the appropriatekey for a few seconds.The phone dials the number.Change speed dialing numbersAfter you have assigned a speed dialing number to a key, you can changekey and number associations at any time.1 Press Names, scroll to 1-touch dialing, and press Select.2 Scroll to the key you want to change and press Options.3 Scroll to Change and press Select.4 Enter the new number or retrieve a number from the phone book.5 When you’ve entered the number, press OK.ORIf you’ve found a number in the phone book, press Select.If the name you selected has more than one number, scroll to thenumber you want and press Select.Erase speed dialing numbersYou can erase speed dialing key assignments at any time.1 Press Names.2 Use or to scroll to 1-touch dialing and press Select.
