[ 65 ]Use advanced calling features8Work with an existing voice command tagAfter you have associated a voice tag to a command, you can choose onof the following options:• Listen to the tag• Change the tag• Erase the tagFor detailed instructions, refer to these sections on pages 69-72.• SEND YOUR OWN NUMBER IN CALLER IDWith each call you place, you can determine whether your telephonenumber appears on another phone’s caller ID.In most service areas, when you call others, your name is presented totheir caller IDs (if they subscribe). With Send own caller ID, you can blockor send the display of your number when you make a call.Note: Send own caller ID when calling might not be available inyour wireless system. Contact your service provider for details andavailability. Also note that this feature is effective only when youcall a number that is equipped with caller ID.Before you can use Send own caller ID when calling, you must first storeits feature code. Otherwise, this feature might not appear on your phone’smenu.Store the feature code1 Press Menu 4-6-2 (Settings > Network services > Network featuresetting).The Feature code field appears.2 Enter the feature code your service provider gave you and press OK.3 Use or to scroll to Send own caller ID and press Select.4 Highlight Yes and press Select. The phone then displays Feature code
