Your phone is designed towork with either or both service provider networks.Roaming, when available, allows you to register yourphone on more than one network. This system prior-ity feature allows you to program your phone for opti-mum operation when within your home service areaor when outside your home service area.Contact your cellular service provider for informa-tion about roaming agreements they have withother cellular service providers.In some areas roaming phones are automaticallyrecognized by the cellular system’s computer. Inother areas, you must contact the service providerbefore it can recognize your phone. The operatorneeds to know your phone number, your phone’sESN (electronic serial number), and how you planto pay for your calls. There is normally an addi-tional charge for roaming calls.Note: The ESN of your phone is located under thebattery of the phone.
