Calls can be made duringcharging, even with a fully discharged battery.To use the Rapid Travel Charger (ACP-12U),plug it into a standard 120 V or 220 V AC walloutlet, and connect the lead from the chargerto the base of your phone.Rapid Cigarette Lighter Charger (LCH-9)You can charge your phone’s battery fromyour vehicle battery by using the RapidCigarette Lighter Charger (LCH-9).Calls are possible during charging. A greenlight indicates that the charger is ready forcharging (when not charging). The batterycharging times are the same as those for the Rapid Travel Charger (ACP-8U).The input voltage range is from 11 V to 32 V DC, negative grounding.Avoid prolonged charging with the Rapid Cigarette Lighter Charger (LCH-9)when the car engine is not running; this could cause your car battery todrain.
