All Rights Reserved.Set specific settingsA setting group or a ‘set’ is a collection of settings needed forsending text messages.You can, for example, send a text message as a fax or an e-mail, ifsupported by your service provider, by simply selecting the set inwhich you have predefined the proper settings for faxtransmissions.Set_1 - Set_3 (Menu 1 4 1-1 4 3)Within these submenus you can change the settings of a particular set.To access these settings:1 In the Message settings submenu, scroll with orto the desired set and press Select.• Note: The set can have any name that you can change withthe “Rename this set” function.2 Scroll to one of the following settings and press Selectto enter it.Message centre number (Menu 1 4 1 1)Stores the phone number of the message centre needed for sendingtext messages. You obtain this number from your service provider.Key in or edit the phone number (or recall it from Phone Book) andpress OK.• Note: the home service center saved with this submenu is thedefault service center number and it is automatically used forsending messages unless you use a different set of messagesettings.Messages sent as (Menu 1 4 1 2)You can request the network to convert you text messages into e-mail, fax or paging format (if the local NMT 450 network supportsthat format).Scroll with and to the desired format and press OK.
