When you disconnect the power cord ofany enhancement, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord.Access codesSelect Menu > Settings > Security to set how your phoneuses the access codes and security settings.• The keypad lock (keyguard) only locks the keypad.You can lock the keypad to prevent accidental keypresses.1 To lock the keypad, select Menu and press * within1.5 seconds.2 To unlock the keypad, select Unlock and press *within 1.5 secondsTo answer a call when the keyguard is on, press the callkey. When you end or reject the call, the keypad isautomatically locked.You can also select Menu > Settings > Phone >Automatic keyguard or Security keyguard > On orOff. If the Security keyguard is set On, enter thesecurity code when requested.• The PIN code, supplied with the SIM card, helps toprotect the card against unauthorised use.• The PIN2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, isrequired to access certain services.• PUK and PUK2 codes may be supplied with the SIMcard. If you enter the PIN or PIN2 code incorrectlythree times in succession, you will be asked for the PUKor PUK2 code. If you do not have them, contact yourlocal service provider.• The barring password (4 digits) is required when usingthe Call barring service to restrict calls from yourphone (network service).• To view or change the security module settings, selectMenu > Settings > Security > Security module sett.Download contentYou may be able to download new content (for example,themes) to your phone (network service).For the availability of different services, pricing, andtariffs, contact your service provider.Important: Use only services that you trust andthat offer adequate security and protectionagainst harmful software.
