11[ 116 ]Automatic KeyguardYou can set your phone to automatically lock the keys.1 Press Menu 4-3-2 (Settings> Phonesettings>Automatic keyguard.2 Scroll to On and press Select.Set delay appears, with the timedisplayed in minutes : seconds.3 In minutes and seconds, enter the amountof time you want the phone to waitbefore turning Keyguard on, and press OK. For example, to enter fiveminutes, press , then OK.A confirmation message appears.Tip: The shortest time you can enter is 10 seconds, and the longesttime you can enter is 60 minutes.You can still press Menu, then to unlock the keys manually and useall the features of your phone. When you’re finished, keyguardautomatically activates at the time you set.Note: Turn off Automatic Keyguard when using PC suite.• ABOUT ACCESS CODESUse access codes to change your security code, PIN code, and PIN2 code.Note: Avoid using codes similar to emergency numbers such as911 to prevent accidental dialing of the emergency number.The security codeThe security code controls access to features such as the security level andis supplied with the phone. The preset code is 12345. Nokia recommendsthat you change this codeNote: If you enter the wrong security code five times insuccession, you won’t be able to enter a code for five minutes, evenif you power off the phone between incorrect entries.
