From there, you can set up the IMconnection settings, log in to the IM service, and view previous IM conversations thatyou have saved.Contact your service provider for availability and instructions on using this feature.• Voice messagesIf you subscribe to voice mail, your service provider will furnish you with a voice mailboxnumber. You need to save this number to your phone to use voice mail. When you receivea voice message, your phone lets you know by beeping, displaying a message, or both. Ifyou receive more than one message, your phone shows the number of messages received.If supported by the network, the indicator will show new voice messages.Save your voice mailbox numberYour service provider may have already saved your voice mailbox number to yourphone. If so, the number will appear in the display in step 2. Select OK to leave thenumber unchanged.1 Select Menu > Messages > Voice messages > Voice mailbox number.2 If the Mailbox number box is empty, enter the voice mailbox area code andnumber, and select OK.Call and set up your voice mail1 Once you have saved the voice mailbox number, from the main menu, press andhold 1.2 When you connect to voice mail and the prerecorded greeting begins, follow theservice’s automated instructions to setup your voice mail.
