To set the configurationsettings of the service provider asdefault settings, select Options >Set as default.Activ. def. in all apps. — toactivate the default configurationsettings for supported applicationsPreferred access pt. — to view thesaved access points. Scroll to anaccess point, and select Options >Details to view the name of theservice provider, data bearer, andpacket data access point or GSMdial-up number.Connect to support — todownload the configurationsettings from your service providerDevice manager sett. — to allowor prevent the phone fromreceiving phone software updates.This option may not be available,depending on your phone. See”Phone software updates” p. 55.Personal config. sett. — to addnew personal accounts for variousservices manually and to activateor delete them. To add a newpersonal account if you have notadded any, select Add; otherwise,select Options > Add new. Selectthe service type, and select andenter each of the requiredparameters. To delete or activate apersonal account, scroll to it, andselect Options > Delete orActivate.■ SecurityWhen security features thatrestrict calls are in use (such ascall barring, closed user group, andfixed dialing) calls still may bepossible to the official emergencynumber programmed into yourdevice.Select Menu > Settings >Security and from the followingoptions:PIN code request and UPIN coderequest — to set the phone to askfor your PIN or UPIN code everytime the phone is switched on.Some SIM cards do not allow thecode request to be turned off.
