[ 71 ]Security features• Restricting callsThis is a network service that lets you restrict the calls your phone canmake and receive. Check with your service provider for details.Note: When calls are restricted, calls may be possible to certainemergency numbers in some networks (such as 911 or otherofficial emergency number).Turn on call restrictions1 Press Menu 4 6 3.2 Scroll through the types of calls you can restrict, and press Selectwhen you see the one you want.Outgoing calls: Calls cannot be made.International calls: Calls cannot be made to foreign countries.International except to home country: When abroad, calls can bemade only within the current country and to your home country(that is, the country where your home network operator is located.)Incoming calls: Calls cannot be received.Incoming calls if roaming: Calls cannot be received outside yourhome area.Cancel all call restrictions: Turns off all call restrictions. Calls can bemade and received in the usual way.Note: If you selected Cancel all call restrictions, the following steps arenot available. Also, you can cancel call restrictions on eachoption, allowing restrictions on other options to stay in force.3 Scroll to one of the following options:Activate: Enter the restriction password and press OK.Cancel: Enter the restriction password and press OK.Status: The phone lists the call types with call restriction active.4 Press OK.For more information about your restriction password, see “Restrictingcalls” on page 71.
