6. MessagingSelect Menu > Messaging.In Messaging (network service), you can send and receivetext messages, multimedia messages, audio messages,and e-mail messages. You can also receive web servicemessages, cell broadcast messages, and special messagescontaining data, and send service commands.Before sending or receiving messages, you may need todo the following:• Insert a valid SIM card in the device and be located inthe service area of a cellular network.• Verify that the network supports the messagingfeatures you want to use and that they are activated onyour SIM card.• Define the internet access point settings on the device.• Define the e-mail account settings on the device.• Define the text message settings on the device.• Define the multimedia message settings on the device.The device may recognise the SIM card provider andautomatically configure some of the message settings. Ifnot, you may need to define the settings manually; orcontact your service provider to configure the settings.Nokia MessagingThe Nokia Messaging service automatically pushes e-mailfrom your existing e-mail address to your Nokia E52. Youcan read, respond to, and organise your e-mails on the go.The Nokia Messaging service works with a number ofinternet e-mail providers that are often used for personale-mail, such as Google e-mail services.The Nokia Messaging service may be chargeable. Forinformation on possible costs, contact your serviceprovider or the Nokia Messaging service.The Nokia Messaging service must be supported by yournetwork and may not be available in all regions.Install the Nokia messaging application1.
