Contacts settingsSelect Menu > Contacts.To modify the settings of the Contacts application, selectOptions > Settings > Contacts and from the following:• Contacts to display — Show contacts that are stored inthe device memory, on the SIM card, or both.• Default saving memory — Select where to save contacts.• Name display — Change the way contacts' names aredisplayed. This setting is not available for all languages.• Default contact list — Select which contacts list openswhen you open the Contacts application. This setting isonly available when there is more than one contacts list.• Remote search server — Change the remote contactsdatabase. This option is available only if remote contactsdatabases are supported by your service provider.MultitaskingYou can have several applications open at the same time. Toswitch between active applications, press and hold the homekey, scroll to an application, and press the scroll key. To closethe selected application, press the backspace key.Example: When you have an active phone call andwant to check your calendar, press the home key toaccess the menu, and open the Calendar application.The phone call remains active in the background.Example: When you are writing a message and wantto check a web site, press the home key to access themenu, and open the Web application. Select abookmark or enter the web address manually, andselect Go to. To return to your message, press and holdthe home key, scroll to the message and press the scrollkey.MessagingSelect Menu > Messaging.In Messaging (network service), you can send and receive textmessages, multimedia messages, audio messages, and e-mail messages.
