See"Restrict packet data", p. 131.Access pointsSelect Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection >Access points.An internet access point is a collection of settings, whichdefine how the device creates a data connection to thenetwork. To use e-mail and multimedia services or tobrowse web pages, you must first define access points forthese services.Some or all access points may be preset for your device byyour service provider, and you may not be able to create,edit, or remove them.To create a new access point, select Options > Newaccess point or select an existing access point from thelist and then Options > Duplicate access point to usethe access point as a basis for the new one.Packet data (GPRS) settingsSelect Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection >Packet data.Your device supports packet data connections, such asGPRS in the GSM network. When you are using your devicein GSM and UMTS networks, it is possible to have multipledata connections active at the same time; access pointscan share a data connection, and data connections remainactive, for example, during voice calls. See "Connectionmanager", p. 108.To define the packet data settings, select Packet dataconnection and select When available to register thedevice to the packet data network when you switch thedevice on in a supported network, or When needed toestablish a packet data connection only when anapplication or action requires it.
