If the recipient cannot be reachedwithin the validity period, the message is deletedfrom the message centre.• Message sent as — Convert the message to anotherformat, such as Text, Fax, Paging, or E-mail.Change this option only if you are sure that yourmessage centre is able to convert text messages intothese other formats. Contact your service provider.• Preferred connection — Select the preferredmethod of connection when sending text messagesfrom your device.• Reply via same centre — Select whether you wantthe reply message to be sent using the same textmessage centre number (network service).Multimedia messagesSelect Menu > Communic. > Messaging.Only devices that have compatible features can receiveand display multimedia messages. The appearance ofa message may vary depending on the receiving device.A multimedia message (MMS) can contain text andobjects such as images, sound clips, or video clips.Before you can send or receive multimedia messageson your device, you must define the multimediamessage settings. Your device may have recognisedthe SIM card provider and automatically configured themultimedia message settings.
