Check with your local authorities or service provider.Using Bluetooth features, or allowing them to run in the backgroundwhile using other features, increases the demand on battery power andreduces the battery life.■ Global positioning system (GPS)The GPS is a worldwide radio navigation system that includes 24 satellitesand their ground stations that monitor the operation of the satellites.A GPS terminal (such as the Nokia Wireless GPS Module) receives low-power radio signals from the satellites and measures the travel time ofthe signal. From the travel time, the GPS terminal can calculate itslocation to an accuracy of 82 feet (25 meters).
